BOWLIO Nero are black leather bowling shoes with a genuine leather upper and a full-length leather sole under both shoes. That makes them suitable for left- and right-handed bowlers, from beginners to professionals. Here is what the Nero is made of and who it suits.
Black leather bowling shoes: the BOWLIO Nero
Nero is Italian for black. The model name comes from the German-Italian background of BOWLIO's founder, as do the names of the other two models, Torino and Verona. The Nero is the classic in the range: black leather, black laces and a white heel.
Nero, Torino and Verona are the same shoe in different colours. They differ only in how the leather panels are stitched together, not in materials, quality or comfort. So choosing between them is a question of which look you prefer.
Genuine leather, top and bottom
- Upper: genuine leather. The more often you wear the shoes, the softer the leather becomes and the more comfortable they feel.
- Sole: a continuous, one-piece leather sole, full length from toe to heel.
- Lining: textile.
- Insole: removable.
- Heel: white, with the BOWLIO logo embossed. It is white so that it leaves no marks on the lane.
- Lettering: the BOWLIO wordmark on the side is embroidered.
For left- and right-handed bowlers
Many performance bowling shoes have a slide sole under one shoe only and a rubber traction sole under the other, so they are sold for either right- or left-handed bowlers. The Nero has a leather slide sole under both shoes. The same pair suits left- and right-handed bowlers, and you do not need to choose a version when you order.
Sizes and fit

Care
